Core-formed trefoil oinochoe
The vibrant colours and artistic form suggest a luxury object, likely used for storing or pouring precious liquids such as perfume or oil. A wonderful example of early glass production in the 5th century BC.
Roman sprinkler
Olive-green glass with an elegant spiral decoration. Made in late Roman times in the province of Syria Palaestina.
Roman juglet of honey-yellow glass
A magnificent specimen with a wonderful presence. This rare glass vessel, dating from the 3rd to 4th century, originates from the eastern Mediterranean, presumably from the Roman province of Syria.
Roman ribbed glass beaker
An ornate and elegant glass vessel from the Eastern Mediterranean. Made of nice pale turquoise glass.
Roman aubergine-coloured glass jar
Small glass vessel from the late Roman Imperial period. From one of the Roman glass factories in the eastern Mediterranean. Closely comparable pieces come from Syria-Palestine.
Necklace with ancient beads
A necklace of tastefully arranged ancient beads from the Eastern Mediterranean. From Phoenician and Roman periods, and one example from the Middle Ages.

Large early Greek bronze oinochoe with beautiful patina
Elaborately decorated, finely crafted piece. A fascinating example of an early Greek bronze vessel. Formerly in the Galerie Athena in Munich, acquired there in 1991.
Published Hellenistic bronze handle with figurative decorations
Featuring a three-dimensional depiction of a grim satyr's head and Medusa's head. On both sides of the handle are three-dimensional volutes culminating in the depiction of a charging boar. The workmanship is of exceptionally fine quality.
Stamped Roman oil lamp with parallel in the Getty Museum
Almost perfectly preserved. With potters mark LMV.AD[I]EC. An almost identical lamp is on exhibition in the J.P. Getty Museum. From a very old German family collection, acquired between 1925 and 1935. The find region is known to be Tunisia.
Italic Quatrefoil Fibula
Extremely well preserved double spectacle brooch from a grave. Dating to the early Iron Age in Italy, 8th cent. BC. Acquired 1986 at Casa Serodine.
Apulian-Corinthian bronze helmet - ex Axel Guttmann collection
Worth the exhibition in a museum. With fine decoration including large boars. Published by H. Born (1993) and M. Junkelmann (2000). Ex Christie's London and Royal Athena Galleries New York.
Massive roman Hercules bronze figurine with silver torc
The figure is of very high workmanship, details like facial features and hair are finely worked and still perfectly preserved. Ex Cahn, ex Bonhams.
Roman bowl of colourful ribbon glass
The bowl was made in mosaic glass technique. It is truely a work of art and a showpiece for the glass production in the Roman core region during the Early Imperial period.
Etruscan Vetulonia type helmet
From the possession of New York City antiquities dealer Sumner Healey, who was made famous by Berenice Abbott's scenic photograph from 1936.
Hoard from the Late Bronze Age
Complete surviving hoard consisting of one bronze bowl, two belts and twelve bracelets. Urnfield culture HaB1. The amazingly well preserved group is excessively rare on the art market as well as in museum collections.
ANCIENT ART GALLERY SPECIALIZING IN
Perhaps the most famous hero of antiquity. The Hercules figurine is of the highest artistic quality. He wears a twisted silver torc of Celtic type around his neck, making the statuette a unique testament to the ancient fusion of cultures.
